Celebrate with us celtic feast Samhain with stylish hard music! This time you can enjoy Celtic bluster with Krampus and partially with Cruadalach, Slavic dancing with medieval-folkish non-metalheads Percival who will metamorphose into hard folkish metalheads Percival Schuttenbach. Seriousness and All Souls' sadness will be represented with the stringed formation Clawed Forehead.
Expect the amazing musical experience, which would be shame to miss!

PERCIVAL SCHUTTENBACH (Pol)
"New wave of folk metal". Percival Schuttenbach is a jewel of Polish folk metal. Line-up of highly skilled musicians re-arranges traditional songs in modern and heavy-metal form, in their repertory are also their own songs. Beside Polish folkish motives, Percival Schuttenbach´s creation works with jazz melodics too. Pagan atmosphere is raised by traditional instruments (e.g. drum made from goatskin) and violoncello, as well as sharp female vocal. They sing about the Gods of our ancestors, about famed legends. They celebrate life, nature and ancient times. Live performances are impressive and unforgetable thank to masterful and professional shows, during which the band is able to get over the listeners with fascinating easiness.

"Folk melodeath metal". Hailing from Italy, Krampus is an 8 piece folk death metal band who has launched themselves to the forefront of the folk metal scene. Krampus offers an eclectic array of folk sounds with the usage of bagpipes, flutes, whistles, violins, and the Irish Bouzouki partnered with the modern metal sounds of heavy guitars, aggressive vocals, and melodic keyboards. In addition to creating a new breed of sound, Krampus focus on their lyrical content while addressing themes such as issues with humanity and nature, and environmental awareness. In March of 2011, the band released their first full length album, Shadows of Our Time. While playing major festivals in Europe, the band then released their second EP, Kronos’ Heritage in the summer of 2011 to high praise amongst the metal community. Krampus will be releasing a music video for the song "Kronos' Heritage" with director Andrea Guarascio at the helm in the fall of 2011.

"Medieval folk". Percival is a medieval folk project of Percival Schuttenbach´s members, what proves their creative and interpretative universality. Folklorish vocals, old folkish songs, simple medieval melodic lines in which the strength embodies and from which old times resound. You can meet this formation at organized medieval battles and similar stylish events. Now you have opportunity to see Percival at Samhainfest side by side with Percival Schuttenbach. "Metal - classical music". Clawed Forehead plays pieces oscilating between classical music and rock with a distinct folk melodics. The band is active since 2006. Original repertory was mainly represented with re-arranged hits of Metallica and Apocalyptica, author pieces of band member Pavel Cadek, which were inspired by mentioned finish idols and with creations of Czech classical authors like Antonín Dvořák, Bohuslav Martinů and Leoš Janáček, were added later. In 2007, band released CD "At the End of Spring". Then the band line-up changed more times. After leaving of Pavel Čadek, band was reanimated by the remaining members into a stringed quartet (violin, 2 violoncellos, contrabass), rhytmically supported by drums. Pieces of Pavel Čadek could remain in repertory of the "new" formation. During their existence, Clawed Forehead played many gigs in Czech Republic and abroad and gained many positive feedbacks.

Clan of eight is active on stages since September 2009. Characteristic sound of the band is imparted by stringed instruments (violoncello, violin) and folklore or medieval wind instruments (recorders, whistles, shawms, bagpipe). Songs of the band refer to old cCeltic legends but also give space to common themes, inner struggles, life values and mysticism. The band is refered as folk metal with medieval-like, foklore, HC, punk and rock influences. That all in connection with very excentric frontman and energic show is plight of pure moshed set in which’s end you will fall by tideness. From the very first gigs clan became quickly popular among broad public and after less than one year of activity won status which allowed them to play Czech and also abroad festivals, support bands like Arkona or Skyforger, and sign with ambicious German agency and label Black Bards. The debut album of Cruadalach called "Lead - Not Follow" is just recorded and should be released through Black Bards on Autumn 2011.
